I don't want to put this restaurant down since they do have good tasting pizza with home delivery however my husband received a plate of zitti broccoli and chicken with hair wrap around the inside center of the plate which was completely disgustdisgusting, I have never experienced something this absurd.... A hair net goes a long way.

I ordered a tray of chicken parm, a tray of chicken francese, tray of baked ziti and 2 large pizzas for a birthday party. It was delicious as always. They have the most incredible sauce. Thanks

Love this place, very laid back atmosphere and an always welcoming staff. Food is great with huge portions! The prices are always low and with their weekly specials you can never go wrong. You can always tell how good an Italian place is by their pizzas and this place is top of the charts in the area. Garlic rolls are great too! They haven't let me down yet and would recommend this place to everyone that asks.

Since they have moved to their new location prices have gone up dramatically and the amount of food has gone down there is nothing special about their lunch special it is a shame I used to go there 4 to 5 times a month not anymore

I got tipped off to this place by seeing all the police and fire guys parking there for lunch. These guys usually know where the best lunch spots are so I figured I would try them. This place reminds me a lot of Brusketta. You won't find this kind of Italian by any of the big chain stores. Granted, I have only been here once but by the service and quality, I will most definitely be returning. I had the chicken parm sub. Great tasting and was huge. I only could eat half. You won't think anything fancy of the place by the looks from the front but if your in the area, you should give it a try.

The food was very good and the service was exceptional. Try the garlic knots but don't forget some mints when you leave :0).

I love this place. I never realized that this restaurant was just down the street from our home. It is in a small strip mall that you might pass right by if you drive too fast. We never have to wait more than five minutes for a table. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is clean and the food is very good. After a long day at work, I can go out with my husband for a nice meal without spending too much money, no loud music, no screaming children and great food.

This is our go to neighborhood italian place for take out. Awesome pies! The Chicken Fran and Chicken Parm are AMAZING!! Comes with garlic knots and salad with yummy creamy italian dressing. I ordered the Fett Alfredo once and it was meh. Could have been an off night though. Otherwise, they have been on their game. Mario's is on speed dial on my cell phone since we order about once a week on the way home from work. Great family business.

I visit every few months to spend time with my Mother in Pembroke Pines from Atlanta. Mario's is a favorite and with good reason. I picked up their chicken francesca and brought it home. Just wonderful. Huge portions with side of pasta delicious home made pasta fagioli and their addictive hot garlic rolls. The owners are just wonderful and this hole in the wall produces beautifully made classic Italian dishes

I've been searching for a place like this for a decade and finally found it! I drive 15 miles to get to Mario's Rest. and it is well worth the 30 mile round-trip journey. Food is awesome; portion size is mammoth and value for the dollar is incredible. Begin with soup or salad, huge entree, garlic (or non-garlic rolls) and the joke is when the server then asks: "Dessert?" You have to be kidding. All for an incredible price. Place does a booming take-out business and the staff is warm. Their A/C is mega-strong so bring a sweater if you tend to get cold or drafty in uber-cold places. Being a big guy I am grateful the air temps are cold; as I'm always warm in most restaurants. Thursday nights they lower their already bargain prices even more on some specials. I make it my business to get there once a week (at least) and as of this moment, it is my # 1 favorite restaurant! Finally it is very casual; no need to dress up here. Shorts and flipflops and you'll fit right in. This place is a winner. They are already # 1 and yet they keep trying hard to make it even better. 5 stars all the way.

We typically order delivery from Mario's and they have always had a pretty descent pie when compared to othe pizza joints in Pembroke Park. The best thing about their pizza has to be the sauce, it really gives the pie it's distinct flavor. The employees there are always friendly and placing an order over the phone never feels like a "rush job," that is, they always take their time with you over the phone and get the order right; to this day, we've never had anything wrong with any of our orders. They also have a full Italian Restaurant menu as well. It's local and very quaint. For anyone in the Pembroke Pines are who's in need of a pizza fix, Mario is a good gamble.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
